HVAC Service Technician

Shearer Heating A/C & Refrigeration Inc. in Washington, PA is seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead HVAC Service Tech to join our team full-time. We specialize in providing high-quality heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions for both residential and commercial clients. This heating and cooling position offers a competitive hourly rate of $25-$45, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

YOUR TYPICAL DAY

In this heating and cooling role, you will begin your day from home, traveling directly to customer locations to provide exceptional service. As a Lead HVAC Service Tech, you will diagnose and repair HVAC systems in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting complex issues, conducting routine maintenance, and using an iPad to document service calls and process payments efficiently. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of HVAC trade school
• Valid driver's license
• Universal Refrigeration Certification
• Must reside within 1 hour of our office in Washington, PA
• Ability to use an iPad
• Preferred Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience
• HVAC Troubleshooting Skills
• Experienced charging and collecting from residential customers
• Experience using a flat rate book/software

SCHEDULE & LOCATION

This full-time heating and cooling position operates from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with additional opportunities for overtime and participation in an on-call rotation. As our Lead HVAC Service Tech, you will primarily serve clients in Washington, PA, and enjoy the flexibility of dispatching directly from home.
