Shearer Heating diagnosed what could have been a potentially fatal mistake made by a roofing company. After several different issues with one of our furnaces, Justin and Craig were the ones to get on our roof and in our attic crawl space to determine what was going on. Using Google Maps photos, we were able to determine that the flue pipe on our roof was missing. This discovery led to getting our furnace shut off and tagged.
This began the lengthy process of getting it fixed and during that time, Rebecca (I think) even called to let us know they would come back out whenever we needed and that they were here for us. After the first attempt to fix the issue from the roofing company, Antonio and Craig came out to turn the furnace back on. They had to get back on our roof and in the attic crawl space to figure out why we were still evidently having issues. Unfortunately, the roofers did not properly fix what they needed to. Antonio and Craig went above and beyond to figure out how the roofing company had re-installed the flue pipe incorrectly.
After several weeks of waiting on the roofers, Paxton was the one to come out and get everything finally turned on and in order again. He even checked for carbon monoxide to give me peace of mind after a nightmare of an ordeal.
I cannot say enough good things about everyone I worked with during this several month long situation. There were times I wasn’t even charged for their services despite taking up several hours of their day. They were incredibly knowledgeable and understanding of a complicated situation, especially involving waiting on another company.
